step 1: washing
machine wash
- Select the wool or delicate cycle.
- Use cool water and a low-speed spin cycle to prevent fiber damage.
- Option to place your garment in a mesh laundry bag and wash it separately.
- Use a gentle, wool-safe detergent (preferably one enriched with lanolin). Avoid traditional detergents and fabric softeners, as they strip natural oils and weaken fibers.

hand wash
- Fill a basin with cool water and add a small amount of natural wool detergent or baby shampoo.
- Submerge your garment and swirl gently for 30 seconds.
- Let it soak for up to 30 minutes without excessive agitation.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water until all detergent is removed.
- Avoid over-washing—clean only when necessary to preserve softness and longevity.
step 2: drying
- Never wring out excess water—gently press between clean towels.
- Lay the garment flat on a dry towel, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Reshape while damp, smoothing it gently to maintain its original fit.
- Allow it to dry completely before storing or wearing.
step 3: storing
- Always fold, never hang—this helps maintain its shape.
- Option to store in a breathable cotton bag to protect the fibers.
- Keep in a cool, dark place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
- Let it breathe between wears—this reduces pilling and preserves the fibers.
step 4: refresh
- Use our complimentary fabric shaver (included with your first order) to gently remove natural pilling.
- If using another fabric shaver, handle with care to avoid damaging fibers.
With proper care, your nüülee piece will remain effortlessly soft and elegant for years to come.
Note: Baby camel hair is naturally more durable and less prone to pilling, making it slightly easier to maintain—especially when washing our throws.
